The Kerala Co-operative Service Examination Board (CSEB) conducts competitive examinations for recruitment to various posts in Co-operative Services, including Primary Co-operative Banks. Minimum Qualifications

  • Option A: SSLC + JDC (Junior Diploma in Co-operation).
  • Option B: B.Com with Co-operation.
  • Option C: Any Degree + HDC (Higher Diploma in Co-operation) or HDC & BM.
  • Option D: B.Sc (Co-operation & Banking) from Kerala Agriculture University.

Age Limit (As of Jan 1)

  • General: 18 - 40 Years.
  • SC / ST: 18 - 45 Years (5 Years Relaxation).
  • OBC: 18 - 43 Years (3 Years Relaxation).
  • Ex-Service: Relaxation as per rules.

Salary Scale

Salary varies by the "Class" of the Bank/Society. Approximate scale for Junior Clerk:

₹17,590 - ₹43,450

Plus allowances like DA, HRA, etc. Higher grades usually offer better pay scales up to ₹60,000+.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unless you have a specialized degree like B.Com Co-operation or B.Sc Co-operation & Banking, you generally need a JDC or HDC diploma. A simple degree (BA/BSc) without HDC is NOT eligible.
You can apply to as many banks as listed in the notification. Currently, one application form is used, and you pay an additional fee (e.g., ₹50) for each extra bank selected.
The CSEB portal often rejects standard 150x100px signatures. They require a narrower 150x60px dimension. This tool specifically handles that cropping for you.
